This project evaluates how unconventional natural gas development and the emerging data centers industry influence air pollutant exposures and related disease risks in Pennsylvania. Building on prior high-resolution (1 km) daily pollutant mapping, we characterize geographic and temporal trends in health risks, model future industrial development patterns, and quantify the benefits of mitigation strategies such as increased setback distances, emissions-limiting technologies, and permitting reforms. Through collaboration with community organizations, the project will provide residents with actionable data, tools, and policy tradeoff analyses to support informed advocacy aimed at reducing industrial air-pollution impacts across the region.
